Organic products for babies and their mothers

I was the image of domestic bliss today

I finally got around to tackling the mountain of laundry that had been piling up. When it was all washed and folded, I carried my baskets upstairs and opened the curtains in the bedroom. It was a beautiful day outside, sunny and bright. I put my 4 1/2 month old in his pack-n-play bassinet that's by the bed, turned the TV towards it and popped in the Baby Einstein Brad's sister loaned us.

I felt rather June Cleaverish standing by the bed hanging up my husband's shirts and putting away all the folded things; all I was missing was the retro dress. I'll have to admit it felt kinda good, we've been accumulating clutter since the baby was born and getting it cleared away is refreshing.

What's unusual about this picture is pretty much everything. Usually the bassinet is buried under mounds of my laundry. Braden doesn't sleep there, he sleeps with me. The other thing is that I'm not a huge fan of letting a baby watch TV and really hate having one in my bedroom, but my husband was becoming a little depressed about the state of the house, so it was nice to have something the baby could enjoy while I worked.
